Inheriting Genes
This beautiful little orchid plant grew on the stem of its parent, complete with roots and flowers. It’s a clone, perfectly reproducing all the genes it has inherited from its parent. The spray of flowers shows it is ready to pass on its genes in a more familiar way, one in which its offspring will inherit genes from two parents.
