Created in Nîmes in 1989 by a patient, Mr. Pierre-Marie Morel, the association aims to fight against genetic hemochromatosis by raising public awareness, promoting research, encouraging early detection of the disease and bringing together patients.

Créée à Nîmes en 1989 par un malade, M. Pierre-Marie Morel, l’Association a pour objet de lutter contre l’hémochromatose génétique, en sensibilisant l’opinion publique, en promouvant la recherche, en suscitant le dépistage précoce de la maladie et en regroupant les malades. 

Our work include the publication of a newsletter, the production of articles in the press, contact with patients and the medical profession, action with Health decision-making bodies and any other initiatives that can help achieve the purpose of the association.
