Hi and EFAPH are delighted to announce Dr Jeremy Shearman BSc, MB ChB, FRCP, DPhil has accepted their invitation to join the Joint Scientific Committee.
After an earlier career in research Dr Shearman has maintained a strong interest in clinical issues in haemochromatosis. In recent years he worked very closely with the Haemochromatosis Society (now Haemochromatosis UK) and currently chairs the joint BSG/BASL/BSH Special Interest Group on haemochromatosis. We look forward to working with Dr Shearman to advance European and international work related to the science, clinical practice and patient experience of haemochromatosis and iron overload disorders. .
